It was an amazingly gorgeous day, as far as the weather goes, in Lubbock, Texas. I had planned to spend my day watching the Daytona 500, but it rained in Daytona, and the race was postponed. Long before the race was officially postponed, and it was just in a rain delay, I ventured outside and discovered how pretty a day it was.
I was going to just sit outside and read, but I could not resist getting some yard work done, and as you may guess, way leads on to way, and I did get several pieces of yard work done. And still had time to sit outside and read.
I opened up the house, and the wonderful warm air outside warmed the house comfortably, for which I am a thankful.
This is why I live in West Texas.
