A Long Day Today

It was another long day at work.  I started earlier than usual with a hope to leave earlier than usual. But the latter did not happen. Some situations occurred that made me want to finalize some things before I went home.  So, I stayed at work.  And accomplished those tasks. I did not hit a wall today. I do not know why, but I did not.  I do not understand this.
