Racings, chasings, and other cat stuff

The cats know my routine. And when I break it. On January 9, 2013, I broke my routine because after I fed the cats and had a quick dinner, I left the house to go to the Lady Raider basketball game http://www.texastech.com/sports/w-baskbl/text-w-baskbl-body.html.

On January 10, 2013, I again went out, to go to dinner and the Barnes and Noble Mystery Book Club meeting. The girls were a little distressed at my preparations to leave, but the worst part was that not one cat was allowed garage privileges.  A minor problem. For them.

When I returned, all three cats were animated. Sake wanted to be petted, and sat on the kitchen counter and the dining table demanding attention. She got tired of the attention as I petted her and combed out mats. Haiku just cried, and asked for treats. Of course, if anyone is asking for treats, Taki is, so she got treats with Haiku.

Taki started racing and chasing around the house. Haiku joined her for a while, but then decided she had enough.  All of a sudden, Taki grabbed my foot, wrapped her paws around my ankle, and fell asleep. Still very much a baby, she sometimes just wears herself out and drops where she is. Too funny.

Later in the evening, Taki was sitting at my feet.  I started sneezing. Sometimes, when I sneeze, Taki mews and trills.  It seems my sneezing upsets her.

Now, Taki and Haiku are in some sort of Mexican stand-off and doing more racing and chasing.

I love to watch and try to analyze the cat antics.
