Many, many years ago, I knitted a multi-color pattered sweater. It did not come out quite like I would have liked and I have not tried a multicolor pattern again. I need to try. After all, that is how I will learn.
But the point is, I made the sweater. I made it large, on purpose, so I could load up underneath with layers of clothes if I wanted to. Because it had multi-colors, it is like having two layers of yarn on most of it. Which makes it very, very warm. It is like wearing a sleeping bag, it is so warm. It is dangerously warm: when I put it on at night, I get so warm and relaxed, I often fall asleep sitting in the chair. Mind you, that is not a bad thing, exactly, but I have been spending a lot of nights in the chair. If I am in the recliner, that is comfortable. If I am at another chair, sometimes I wake up with sore muscles. Hmmm. But the sweater is deliciously warm.
