I went to a function tonight, and we left after 8 PM. It was just getting dusk. The moon and Venus were bright in the western sky, but in the urban lighting of Lubbock, little else is visible, especially that early in the evening.
But, it was so nice for it not to be pitch black dark when we headed out tonight. One of the blessing of living in this part of the world. The days are so much longer than in some parts of the world.
