I have had a space heater, and decided that I needed two for the house. The one I had has a feature that if it is tipped over, it will after a while, shut off. The new space heater I purchased today also has the same feature. But it is very sensitive. If it is at all moved from an upright position, it stops. So even adjusting it in the room stops it, sometimes, because the unit is tilted.
That is an excellent safety feature. I much rather have that inconvenience than the inconvenience of a house fire.
