Something happened at work one day that required a reporting through the chain of command. The offender who reported the incident later recanted, and recanted in my presence. But we did follow procedure and reported his claim as initially stated. As it was being investigated, the ranking staff acknowledged that I had filed the proper memos per policy. The ranking officer acknowledged that I did exactly as the policy required. Later my supervisor said the same thing.
I did what I was supposed ot do.
