Lubbock Weather Tonight

So there were some storms in the area tonight, and part of Lubbock received some rain. I could see lightning and hear thunder, but if my part of town got any rain, it was very little and brief. 

But the temperature has dropped to the low 70s.  When that happens, I often shut off the air conditioner and open my windows as I did tonight.  I have the ceiling fans turning, as always.  But there is very little wind, and the humidity is high so there is not much cooling occurring right now.

But I have a double window over my bed, so when I go to bed, I will have a small wash of wind going over me, and I suspect I will be comfortable enough to sleep, especially because the temperature is expected to drop even more.
