Preparation

The air conditioner/furnace replacement is scheduled for later, on August 11, 2017.  In preparation, I moved out the materials that are around the general area where the crew will be working.  I hope I did not under estimate the area they need.  I may have to empty more of one closet, but if that is the case, it will not be difficult.  

Haiku is very distressed by this disturbance in our environment. Taki stays close, which is usual for her, or she hides.  She also hisses if the situation becomes untenable for her.

I am concerned how to handle the cats tomorrow.  I do not want them to be in the way, but I hate to lock them down in a room or the cat stroller, if I do not have to.  Because I suspect the workers will need access to the attic, which is through the garage, I cannot put the girls in the garage.

I will play this by ear. I suspect the cats will resolve the issue for themselves, and find a place to hide.
