Traveling

It is Wednesday May 16, 2012. I am in the Orlando airport awaiting a flight to Providence RI.  I chose this route because I did not want to get into Manchester at 11:30 at night.  When I got to Orlando, my flight status was updated, to leave about 7:25 PM instead of 4:10 PM.  That would put my into Providence about 1030.  Since then, the status has changed to depart at 5:05 PM.  Much better.

They just requested someone to change their travel schedule for a very sizable voucher.  If I were not traveling some place away from the airport where I am unfamiliar about the travel, I would take the offer.

But, I might end up like last year, with a trip and no where I want to go.  I had a great time in Seattle, but would have probably done a ground trip to some place I want to see, if I did not have the air travel voucher that was going to expire.

I generally do not mind traveling Southwest, which has as good a record as any carrier.  I do not know if our changes are weather related or not, but it is raining very, very hard here.  It was gray when we arrived, and the weather has really moved in.

This is the first time in my life I have been in Florida.  Thanks to Southwest, I go some different places: Las Vegas, Nevada, Baltimore, Maryland, for example.  Hmmm.
