Protracted Time

I know I have written about this before, but today was a day of protracted time.  I slept in, and the cats did not bother me.  I waited to go to the store for a matter of timing, as I wanted to run an errand that could not be done until after 10 AM, and I wanted to do that before I bought groceries. 

And, as it turned out, I had another errand to run that put me even further behind with my regular chores.  But, they all got done.

I read this afternoon before I did house work.  And, the lengthened daylight made the day seem very long.  Even this evening, the night has seemed long.

I just go through periods when time seems protracted.  It did today.
