So, the National Football League Superbowl Game http://www.nfl.com/superbowl/49 is history, and the New England Patriots won. It was a competitive game. Either team could have one.
For many years, my primary interest in the Superbowl has been the commercials. This year, I was also interested in the results of the game.
But this year, the commercials http://www.nfl.com/superbowl/46/commercials#video=09000d5d826a052a really interested me. The NFL has had a black eye regarding their social responsibility, especially regarding domestic violence. So, it is understandable that the NFL commercials were socially responsible regarding domestic violence. But lo and behold, many of the other advertisements also projected messages of social responsibility. Wow, what a wonderful forum for the message. How many people will this reach? I hope a few will be persuaded. More importantly, I hope those businesses that did socially responsible advertisements will continue to put their money where their mouth is.
