So, I started a knitting project last night. It is a black yarn knitting project While it is a pattern I know well, I still have to pay attention to how to do it. I picked it up today, and saw that I had to undo about 6 rows because I had made a mistake. This project only has 36 stitches per row, so that is not so bad. But I am distressed by this.
Part of the problem is that because this is a black yarn project, it is difficult for me to see the stitches to verify I am doing the project correctly. This is frustrating to me, but I realize it is a function of my age and diminished eye sight. I can work this project under optimal light conditions, with no problem.
