Today was another dusty day. The dust is fine and silty, and looks grey as well as brown. It is hard to decide if it is dust or fog, but it is dust.
It is difficult to understand that with as much rain we have had recently why the dust is blowing. But it is. And, the dust dries out the air around here.
We had about .5" of rain last night, and so far tonight, some sprinkles. We may have more rain the next few days. The weather map shows wide spread areas of light rain. But with so much dryness in the area, it will be hard for the rain to reach the ground. Does that make sense?
Well, we can hope.
