It is now technically Monday morning. I am wishing I had words of wisdom, enlightenment, or uncharacteristic for me, humor, to share.
I do not.
I just have to say that I am keeping my head above water.
I am reading an interesting book, Our White Boy by Jerry Craft with Kathleen Sullivan http://ourwhiteboy.com/, about a young white pitcher who played in a West Texas Colored League in 1959 and 1960 in the Wichita Falls area of Texas. He calls it West Texas. Maybe it is. He went to Texas Tech, which is in true West Texas. But the area of North Texas in which he played baseball, for the most part, is more aligned with West Texas, than North Texas or Metropolitan Texas.
