Commercial: # Havertys

I do not pay much attention to a lot of commercials,  partly because there are so many I do not like.  But there is one currently airing that goes beyond being disliked by me:  This commercial goes to disgust and obnoxious: #Havertys.  The "straight" girl seems disgusted and maybe even frightened by the "hashtag" girl, who is so petulant and obnoxious she is more child than adult.

I have not ever purchased anything from Havertys, and believe me, advertising does influence me. This advertisement makes me want to never purchase anything from Havertys.

My New Kitchen Isalnd.

I had a small kitchen island that I used for staging my recyclables.  I had this island before I purchased my house in 1992.  In July, it fell apart. I was able to fix it once, but not a second time.  I went shopping and found one I liked, but did not immediately buy it. Most recently, I discovered it was on sale, so purchased it online.  I picked it up today, and put it together.  The instructions said 2 people, 1.5 hours. It took this one person 4.5 hours. But I did put it together.

I sent a picture to Gmail, but it did not show up.  I sent it to Facebook and saved it to my PC and finally found it. The island gives me more shelf space, 2 drawers, and more cupboard space.  I think I will transfer my microwave to the island top.
